Can I come along?

The Silver Slipper Club welcomes dancers of all ages and all levels, from beginners to advanced. You, or your partner and you, plus your friends, can just come along to any of the dances and pay on the door on the night to get in — no pre-booking of tickets is currently required.

While some of our regular dancers do dance in competitions, they do not try to take over the dance floor. In fact, our advanced dancers actively encourage newcomers and beginners to enjoy themselves and put into practice what they have been learning in a friendly, social environment.

Dancing is an excellent social life for anyone. We would really like to see more younger people coming along and taking part.

Also, from time to time, we have lady dancers without a partner, who would like to dance with males, so gentlemen of all dancing abilities and ages, you are very welcome.
