Dance programme
There are numerous dance clubs that specialise in purely sequence dancing, but the Silver Slipper Club is here primarily for Ballroom and Latin American dancing. However, we do include some of the more popular Sequence dances to add a little variety to the evening.
Over the years we have found it useful to provide the musicians with a programme of dances for the evening. This gives them a chance to prepare for the night and also restricts the requests for other sequence dances.
We try to vary the presentation of the Ballroom and Latin American dancing and also to vary the titles of the sequence dances that are included.
A sample of an evening's dance programme would look like this:
| Dance programme | |
| First half | Second half |

At any Silver Slipper Club dance there will be a similar mix of dances all through the evening with a half-hour interval, usually from 9:30pm till 10pm, during which time we hold a raffle.
At each dance you attend, you will find that particular evening's programme posted on the wall, at points around the lounge area.
Musicians are encouraged to allow dancers time to 'catch your breath' between dances.
